Karl has over 17 years experience in retail performing many roles across the supply chain. For the last 10 years his primary focus has been on forecasting and replenishment topics, with extensive knowledge of SAPs UDF, F&R and RPL solutions. 

John has worked in retail for over 30 years in the Uk, Europe, Middle East and Africa undertaking senior commercial and transformation roles in many large Omni-channel businesses. John currently is a strategic retail advisor and business architect working with retailsolutions, and through his own consultancy and advisory business. 

Pavol is an Innovation Solution Architect at AWS focused on cloud adoption strategies for SAP systems across Europe, Middle East, and Africa. With over two decades of experience helping global customers migrate and optimize their business-critical SAP platforms, he is dedicated to driving widespread awareness and utilization of Amazon Web Services to better serve client needs. Through direct collaboration, Pavol develops tailored approaches to effectively transition core SAPenvironments to the cloud and ensure customers fully leverage the agility, resiliency and performance the AWS cloud offers. His deep understanding of both SAP and AWS comes from years of hands-on work moving companies to and managing them on public, private and hybrid cloud solutions. Pavol is committed to working closely with organizations to create cloud solutions that meet their unique objectives around SAP landscapes. He is helping clients to modernize their existing SAPbusiness processing by leveraging AI/ML, data analytics and modern application services from AWS. This allows Pavol’s clients to infuse intelligence, drive automation and boost performance of their SAP systems by tapping into leading-edge capabilities on the AWS cloud.

Adam Hill is a Principal SAP Specialist Solution Architect at AWS with 27 years of SAP experience. During his time in the industry he has worked for SAP (UK), a number of SAP partners and several large end user organisations working on projects in Manufacturing, Retail, HR, Finance, E-Commence and Supply Chain. At AWS he is the worldwide tech leader for the SAP Technical Field Community focused on thought leadership and platform innovation.

David is Enterprise Architect for retailsolutions International and is responsible for leading business transfortmation & strategic planning and design for our large enterprise customers.  With over 19 years of SAP Retail experience across Grocery, Fashion and General Merchandise, David is well positioned to support our customers planning their transformation programmes with S/4HANA and Industry Cloud adoption.

Michael is Managing Partner at retailsolutions and is responsible for our customers and operations in the UK, the Nordics, Spain as well as South Africa, Australia & New Zealand. He has been involved in retail transformations since 1997 when he started his career in SAP. Since then, Michael has worked with many retailers across the globe including Europe, USA, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

Michael joined retailsolutions in 2015 after spending the previous 15 years living and working in Australia and New Zealand for SAP and another partner organisation. 

Martin Koch is deputy lead and Head of Program Management of the EIGER transformation program at Migros, the largest retailer in Switzerland. He conducted the EIGER pre-study and was responsible for the setup of the EIGER program before the arrival of Franziska Reist. 

In his previous positions he gained experience in large transformation projects, for example as Business Owner of a large CRM Transformation at Switzerland’s largest Telecom provider or as responsible project manager of Switzerland’s first SAP S/4HANA brownfield transformation. He holds a master’s degree in Marketing Management and CRM. He likes diving, cycling, skiing and is a big fan of ice hockey. 

Louis is the South African country manager for retailsolutions and is also an Advanced Planning Solutions (APS) Architect with over 25 years SAP experience. He has a keen interest in the organizational impact of advance planning systems in companies and have obtained a PhD on this topic in 2021. His experience across more than 20 APS implementations in over a dozen countries have also provided him with extensive firsthand practical experience on the topic.

Arndt joined smartShift in 2002 as one of the founding team members of smartShift. Arndt is responsible for the overall Customer Experience with smartShift, our customer Council, leveraging customer input for Marketing, Product and Solution decisions, partnerships and selected key accounts. Before becoming CCO, Arndt was responsible for smartShift's EMEA business.

In his former career, Arndt was Client Partner for i-Cube, an IT Transformation company based in Cambridge, MA and Project Manager for the Financial Services Unit of Cooper & Lybrand / PwC in Frankfurt leading SAP Implementation projects in Europe.

Arndt holds a Master in Business Administration, Business Computing from the University of Marburg, Germany.

Jörg Frisch is a co-founder of retailsolutions AG and a Managing Partner since 2006. His main emphasis lies in the management of large SAP implementation projects, which he leads.

Jörg completed his studies in business administration at the Saarland University in Saarbrücken. Afterwards, he worked at the Institute for Business IT under Professor Scheer for three years.

Before retailsolutions AG was founded, he worked for nine years as a consultant, project manager, and manager at the SAP AG. Throughout the successful implementation of numerous IT projects, he acquired in-depth knowledge of the complex IT systems that the retail sector requires. During this time he specialised in fashion and perishables.

Alistair is a Senior SAP Functional Consultant specialising in SAP Logistics and Retail modules. He brings to the table over 20 years of SAP and industry experience, having completed numerous SAP projects and major developments including 5 full SAP project life cycles.
